Communications Department Mission Statement
Corrigan-Camden ISD Communications Department supports the instructional goals of our campuses by promoting a positive and caring climate that facilitates communications between students, staff, parents and our community. We are committed to sharing the great news about our schools, students and staff throughout the community. We are proud of the great achievements and success, and excited about the amazing things yet to come!
The Communications department serves as the communication connection for all departments of the district. The department strives to provide proactive and frequent engagement with employees, parents and the community to ensure effective communications, superior customer service, and a strong culture within the district. The communications department works to promote the district’s students, staff and programs with the creation and distribution of announcements, photos, and social media postings.

PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST
Chapter 522, provides the public with access to government records, and an officer for public information and/or the officer’s agent may not ask why the records are being requested. All government information is presumed to be available to the public for inspection. Certain exceptions may apply to the disclosure of the information. Governmental bodies shall promptly release requested information that is not confidential by law, either constitutional, statutory, or by judicial decision, or information for which an exception to disclosure has not been sought.
PROCEDURES TO OBTAIN INFORMATION:
- Complete the CCISD Request for Public Records Information Form
- Submit a request via mail, email, or in person according to the governmental body’s reasonable procedures.
- Include enough description and detail about the information requested to enable the governmental body to accurately identify and locate the information requested.
- Cooperate with the governmental body’s reasonable efforts to clarify the type or amount of information requested.
